Raised on a farm in northeastern Iowa as the middle child of nine, Jill learned early how to find her own voice in a crowded room. That voice has since taken her from cosmetology and massage therapy to print work, film, and commercials. She studied improv at the legendary Second City in Chicago, trained in acting in Des Moines, and built a career that defies easy categories — because Jill has never believed in boxes. As founder and owner of Lux Studio, she brings her signature philosophy to every client who sits in her chair: that true style isn't about what you wear, it's about how boldly you show up as yourself.
