Ella is twelve years old and one of the youngest artists in the Kate Shu Collective — and the debut voice behind The Brightful Collection, her original series of sun-and-hot-air-balloon designs rendered in marker and colored pencil. Warm, empathetic, and remarkably emotionally intelligent for her age, Ella has been the kind of kid who notices since she was little — the friend at the lunch table, the sibling who remembers, the one who asks the second question after the polite first one.
Inquisitive, kind-hearted, genuine, and happy is how anyone who knows Ella would describe her. She is a foodie at heart — especially when crusty bread with olive oil and parmesan is involved — and a firm believer that cookies are better than cake. Her favorite color is pink. She plays trumpet. And her favorite day is the one she gets to spend with her Auntie: mani-pedi and lunch, in that order.
About the Creative Kids Collection: The Monarch Shoppe doesn't section the kids off into their own corner. Ella and the other young artists are featured right alongside the adults on the front-page carousel, in the same boutique, at the same standard.
